How to upload via FTP? Getting Access Denied

Hi Guys,

Just signed upto the free service so I can test out this host and if its good enough for my sites to go premium, my question is I am trying to upload via FTP and I am getting the following error:

That used to happen to me for awhile, now it's gone except the ftp connection is very slooooow .
